Samantha Carter
Samantha is the Digital Director for the House Budget Committee. Prior to joining the Budget Committee, Sam worked as the Media Advocacy Manager at the American Heart Association, social media manager at Oceana – an international ocean-conservation non-profit, and web editor at the Advisory Board Company – all in Washington D.C. At the Budget Committee, she’s responsible for any and all digital communications. That includes social media content, branding, livestreaming, video production and photography, digital analytics, and more. Sam holds an M.A. in Communications with a concentration in Digital Communications from Johns Hopkins University and a B.A. in English and Women’s & Gender Studies from the University of Mary Washington. She lives in Washington D.C. with her rescue dog, Louie, but will always take the opportunity to visit her hometown in southeast Virginia.
