Ale D'agostino (she/her)

Ale graduated Summa Cum Laude from the George Washington University double-majoring in Political Science & Criminal Justice, with a minor in Law and Society and a certificate in French Language, Literature, and Culture.

In 2008, Ale immigrated from Venezuela to the United States. As a first-generation student and because of what she witnessed first-hand in Venezuela, she grew passionate about the preservation of human rights and the prevention of constitutional violations. Being a student in Washington, D.C. Ale took advantage of the many opportunities available in D.C. due to its political atmosphere- most notably, she spent time as an intern at the office of Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (FL-23)- both in her District and in D.C offices- and with Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05), at the National District Attorneys Association, at the Training and Community Engagement branch at EMILY’S List, at the U.S. Attorneys Office in Washington, D.C., and as a student researcher at the Prison and Reentry Clinic (PARC) at the GW Law School and Rethinking D.C. Youth and Policing.

Furthermore, she currently serves as a Staff Assistant for Congressman Raul Ruiz (CA-25)!
